So, you want to know how to create a brand that evolves with you and not one that you have to leave behind when you next up-level.

And understandably so!

As entrepreneurs we need the flexibility to evolve, to grow, to up-level, to create, to pivot, to innovate and to push through and create our own change when we have a lightbulb moment.

It’s the beauty of entrepreneurship and business ownership.

So many business owners dive head-first into creating a logo and website, and they don’t even consider the consequences of these decisions that they’re making early on in the business, and the consequences it has on the future of the business.


If you are reading this and you are just starting up a business, you actually have a head start on everyone that’s reading this who is a few years in business. So, congratulations! And make sure you get it right the first time so you can save yourself time, money, energy, and hassle of changing it later.

If you’re reading this however, and you actually have been in business for a few years, don’t despair! There is always an opportunity to get it right and to make your brand last years into the future so you don’t need to rebrand again and again.

Your New Adventures

The fun thing about owning your own business is that you get to make your own decisions, don’t you agree? It’s the control. Freedom. Flexibility.

And how exciting is that?

We get to innovate whenever we feel like it, we get to pivot and change to suit the market, we get to embrace change and technologies which allow businesses to grow and up-level and be what we choose for them to be.

But how the hell can you plan for these new adventures?

You can’t! That’s why creating a brand from the ground up requires some really smart strategies that allow you the kind of flexibility that you will need in the future to be your awesome self.

For me a lot of clarity came around six months to 1 year of being in business. I knew who I wanted to be working with and for, I knew the kind of projects I want to be working on, I had a big fat hairy vision in my head of how I wanted my business to be, and I knew that the brand that I had couldn’t get me there.

The thing is, we can’t know the future. If I had a crystal ball, that told me the future? I would be using that thing that to predict everything from the winner of the next Bachelor to winning lotto numbers!

But life would get incredibly boring, don’t you think?


So given that we know we can’t predict the future, and we also know that we definitely will want to change (because, let’s face it – that’s how we roll), evolve, and up-level;

How can we build a brand that we know will last?

We build a brand that is flexible. A brand that fits around us, not one that controls and limits our every move.

We also get strategic and look at exactly what you’re trying to achieve. What are your goals. What’s the game plan?

We also look at that future vision, we look at that big vision of exactly what we want to achieve and we work backwards and consider all the different possibilities that may happen in between here and there and we form a brand to match.
